3175 - (ق) عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِـيِّ صلّى الله عليه وسلّم قَالَ: (سَتَكُونُ أَثَرَةٌ وَأُمُورٌ تُنْكِرُونَهَا) ، قالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ! فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا؟ قَالَ: (تُؤدُّونَ الْحَقَّ الَّذِي عَلَيْكُمْ، وَتَسْأَلُونَ اللهَ الَّذِي لَكُمْ) .
Ibn Mas‘ūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "'There will be selfishness and other matters that you will disapprove of after me." They asked: "What do you order us to do then, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Fulfill your duty and ask Allah for your rights."
